The members of the Baltimore Chapter of the NHRS will gather on March 25, 2023 for their Annual Banquet.
This year’s event features President Abraham Lincoln portrayed by Fritz Klein of the Lincoln Institute for Education in Illinois.
Presentations will be given by Steve Torrico, General Superintendent, and Shannon Brown, Project Lead, of the Harrisburg, Lincoln & Lancaster Railroad at Stone Gable Estate, Elizabethtown, Pa, home of the Lincoln Funeral Train.
Scott Mingus of York, PA will also give a presentation. Mingus is author of Carnival of Grief, the story of the funeral train which carried President Lincoln and his son Willy from Washington, DC to the president’s final resting place in Springfield, Illinois.
The event includes dinner and is $40 a person with an early bird discount of $5 if you order your ticket by March 13.
